The Jr. Designer series started with a trip to the beach. Carmen and her sister spent a day at Chicago's Oak Street Beach, where the wind blew their laces around. She and her sister love to make friendship bracelets, but they hate when their laces get all tangled up! When Carmen got home, she drew a picture of a really cool case to keep her laces neatly organized. (She takes after her dad, who can fix anything!) Next thing she knew, Creative Hands® turned her idea into reality and named the craft kit after her: Carmen's Lace Creations.

In addition to laces, the case includes beads, key chain rings, lanyard and swivel hooks and a project booklet full of ideas. Carmen's a real Jr. Designer now that Creative Hands® makes Carmen's Lace Creations. Plus, her laces never tangle anymore!

Annie's another Jr. Designer. She enjoys making jewelry with beads, especially while hanging out with friends, but she also wants to give her pieces a unique look. Mallory's idea for her Jr. Designer kit came from a neighborhood tradition. Every summer the kids who live on her street sleep outside in tents with their dads in a neighbor's yard. The annual event, dubbed Camp Away, offers lots of fun activities, but Mallory's favorite time is when the kids get together to design their own Camp Away T-shirt.
